Taylor joined First Place in April 2022 after learning about the organization from a professor at Grand Canyon University (GCU), where Taylor was studying at the time. Taylor’s responsibilities include scheduling and management of the Creighton Medical School MED 459 elective for fourth-year medical students in partnership with First Place AZ. The course focuses on adults with autism and/or I/DD with an emphasis on best practices with students engaging in hands-on experiences at First Place–Phoenix and out in the community at large. Taylor also works with the housing market analysis team on survey creation, along with health and wellness data collection.
Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from GCU with minors in criminal justice and counseling. Her hobbies include baking, hiking, travel—and research!
