In 2001, Stuart Savitz founded the Law Offices of Stuart M. Savitz LLC in 2001, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions and general corporate services. In 2004, Stuart was the lead investor in CP Acquisition LLC, which acquired the Coco Pazzo and Coco Pazzo Café restaurants in Chicago.
Stuart has been a member of the national Board of Directors of Autism Speaks since 2012. In addition to that important role, he is a Founding Board Member of Multiple, a non-profit accelerator supporting innovation in autism. He and his family have been active in the Autism Speaks Walk program, founding the North Shore Walk and raising over $2 million as Team Tyler. He also served on the Foundation Board for Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago from 2004 to 2009.
Stuart and his wife, Amy, have two sons: Tyler, who has autism, and Spencer, who lives in New York City. He graduated from Michigan State University (James Madison College) with a Bachelor of Arts in 1982 and received his Juris Doctor degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 1985.
