Penny has had a long and respected career in national media relations, reputation management, crisis and issues management, and strategic positioning.  

For the past several decades, Penny has served as the U.S. spokesperson for Korean Air and guided the airline from an ethnic perception into the well-respected international image it enjoys today. She also has been public relations counsel to Sky Harbor International Airport and created the slogan, “America’s Friendliest Airport.” 

Penny was an executive at Ogilvy (formerly Ogilvy & Mather) in Los Angeles, where she oversaw the Korean Air and Mercedes Benz accounts. She is the former owner of a successful public relations agency in Phoenix.
