Jada began her journey at First Place as a volunteer through ASU’s Design and Arts Corps, where she contributed to the production of several musicals performed by residents. After recently graduating with a B.A. in psychology, Jada is pursuing a Master of Counseling Psychology at ASU.
In her role as employment specialist, Jada is focused on ensuring the successful implementation of the Be Ready℠ Jobseekers in-person course designed to support community members and First Place residents in finding and securing employment. As a co-instructor, Jada draws on her teaching experience and passion for creativity and the arts to make the classes accessible and engaging. She is excited to contribute to First Place’s mission of empowering adults with disabilities by helping individuals secure meaningful employment and thrive in the workforce.
